Twilight

Ok, I just read Twilight, and it is awesome. Honestly, at first, I didn't see why people loved it so much, and were so crazy about the movie, but I am now truly a Twilight fan now. Ever since I read the book I've begging my mom to take me to see it before it leaves theathers (though, I'm just going to buy it on DVD when it comes out on that, but that might not happen until late next year!). Sorry all this blog is about the one thing just about every female usually under 30 is obsessed with (I'm also sorry I haven't wrote in a while, but due to Christmas hysteria I've been busy). I've now started on the 2nd book, New Moon.

You know what I wish, I wish I was Bella (doesn't everybody?). I mean I would love to get to do everything Bella does in the books, even the painful parts. Too bad genes aren't real, because I know what I would wish for first.

ps. For those of you who might actually look at my blog (think i haven't noticed I don't have any followers?) tell me what you would wish for if you had a magic gene, or if you could be any character in Twilight.

Where's the Christmas Spirit Gone?

Oh, my God,I don't know what the world is coming to. I really don't. Today I heard about how Santa got a parking ticket. I am serious. Who gives Santa (or more accurately a guy dressed as Santa, but whatever) a parking ticket?

What happened was that there was a guy dressed as Santa riding in a open horse carriage, with a SUV behind it stuffed with toys in New York City. I guess when the carriage stopped, the SUV stopped too next to the carriage. And when it did it doubled parked next to the carriage, and a cop gave him a ticket!

Who does that kind of thing? I mean the guy was trying to give kids toys for Christmas, and he ends up with a parking ticket. In my opinion he shouldn't have to pay it. Where has the Christmas spirit gone? Things definitely have changed since my mom's time (she's the one who told me about it, like I actually read the newspaper), if by the way she said, "My God, what's happening to the world?" is any indication.

Hi people! I'm new to the whole blog thing, so I'm still getting the hang of it. I hope I will have time to give weekly updates, but don't get too hopeful.
